Bismillah. Quran 50M (accessible at https://quran50m.online) is an Islamic digital platform offering daily Quran tilawat, Naats, Duas, Islamic books, and an AI-powered Islamic assistant — all in one place.

We know legal documents can be boring. So we've written this policy in plain, simple language so anyone can understand exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected. This document is honest, transparent, and complete.

We only collect data that is necessary for the platform to function properly. Here is a transparent breakdown:

Our login and account system is powered by Supabase — an open-source, secure backend platform. When you create an account or log in, your credentials are managed directly by Supabase on encrypted servers. We never see or store your raw password.

• Passwords are never stored in plaintext. Supabase uses industry-standard bcrypt hashing, meaning even if a breach happened, your password remains protected.
• Email verification is required to activate your account and keep it secure.
• Your account data (email, name, photo) is only used to personalize your experience on Quran 50M. It is not shared with any advertiser or third party for marketing.
• Session tokens are stored securely in your browser and expire automatically. Logging out invalidates your session immediately.
• Account deletion: You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Your data will be removed within 48 hours.

Supabase's own privacy practices can be reviewed at supabase.com/privacy. They are SOC 2 Type II compliant and take data security seriously.

The Quran 50M AI Assistant is powered by a third-party AI API (currently routed through our own Supabase Edge Function endpoint). When you send a question, your message travels to our server and is forwarded to the AI provider to generate a response. Here is exactly what happens with that data:

• Real-time processing only. Your message is sent to the AI for an answer and is not permanently stored in our database. We do not build profiles from your questions.
• Chat history lives in your browser. Conversation history is saved using your browser's localStorage — meaning it stays on your device only. Clearing your browser data clears this history.
• Location & prayer times (optional). With your permission, the AI may fetch your approximate city to provide local prayer times via the public Al-Adhan API. Your exact GPS coordinates are never used.
• Voice input. If you use the voice feature, your speech is processed entirely by your browser's built-in Speech Recognition API — it is not sent to our servers.
• Text-to-speech. AI responses can be read aloud using your browser's built-in speech synthesis — again, fully local to your device.

Here is what we never do with your data:

• We never sell your email, name, or any account data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.
• We never use your data to build advertising profiles or show you targeted ads based on your behaviour.
• We never share your AI conversations with marketing companies or analytics platforms for commercial use.
• We never track you across other websites or apps using invasive tracking technologies.
• Quran 50M is an ad-free, community-driven platform. Our motivation is Islamic service — not commercial gain from your data.

Data is only ever shared with sub-processors (like Supabase) that are essential for the platform to function, and they are contractually bound to strict data protection standards.

Quran 50M does not use its own tracking cookies. Here is a complete picture of what we store in your browser and why:

You can clear all browser storage at any time via your browser's settings. Clearing Supabase auth cookies will log you out of your account.

To deliver the best Islamic experience, we integrate a small number of trusted third-party services. Each is chosen carefully and used only for its stated purpose:

• Ai API — To provide a high-end experience, we use various specialized providers: AI & Language Models :- We utilize advanced AI APIs (including but not limited to Google Gemini, Groq, and Sarvam AI) to power our real-time chat and knowledge features. Audio & Speech Technology :- For voice-to-text and high-quality audio generation, we use providers like Deepgram and ElevenLabs. Infrastructure & Security :- Supabase handles our secure authentication and database management. Contact Management :- Web3Forms is used to process support requests sent via our contact forms. Note on Providers :- We may switch or update these service providers to optimize the performance of Quran 50M. All providers are selected based on their commitment to data security. • Web3Forms — Processes contact form submissions and emails them to our support inbox. Privacy Policy →
• Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and Turnstile CAPTCHA (used on forms to prevent bot abuse). No personal tracking. Privacy Policy →

All original video content published on Quran 50M — including Naat recordings, Quran recitations, and educational material — is owned by Quran 50M and its affiliated channels.

• Permitted: Watching, sharing the link, and using content for personal spiritual purposes.
• Prohibited: Re-uploading, re-distributing, or using content for commercial purposes without written permission. This may result in a copyright strike.
• Islamic Library: Digital Islamic resources in our library are aggregated for educational & spiritual purposes only. If you own the copyright to any text and wish for it to be removed, contact us and we will act within 48 hours.

This platform operates in good faith under the principles of fair educational use for spiritual content. No copyright infringement is intended.

You are always in control of your data. Here is what you can do at any time:

• View your data: Log in to your account page at any time to see what information we hold for you.
• Update your data: Change your name, email, or password from the Account Settings page.
• Delete your account: Contact us and we will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 48 hours.
• Clear AI chat history: Use the "Clear History" button in the AI Assistant sidebar at any time — all local history is wiped instantly.
• Contact form messages: Email us to request removal of any support message you've sent to us.

We will respond to all data-related requests within 5 business days. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.
